I saw this image over at the Graphic Fairy and thought..... I could do something with that!! So here is the original image.
As you can see, not really a mermaid. But she had potential! Next I collected another image, 
Now to combine them and put a few of my patterns and backgrounds and totally rework the photograph. Easy right?
Here is the result!

Yesterday I finished up this image. I was still using the image of the French vintage woman, I recolored her and placed her amidst some of my layered patterns. The cushion back drop behind her is also one of those patterns with some special layering effects. The pink background has two patterns layered over each other. The frame consists of brush work again with layering techniques applied.

In the Collage image that I created below, you can see that I have changed her up a bit. I have added skin color and then placed some of my patterns and designs in her dress as well as her background.

I just finished this image up. After a day out with my Piglet, I thought for sure I would not have a solid thought to put towards a new design, but to my surprise, a day out was just what I needed. I came home and whipped this out. I love it. So much that I did several in different colors. Well that is it for today. Hope that you like it!

Just a sneek peek to show you want is available to artist and buyers. These are great sites and there are multiple sites to purchase from and offer your images for sale. The best thing is that you get to get a real feel for how your artwork will look to buyers. We all like to think that our art is the best that ever was, and why wouldn’t someone want to hang it in there home or office. But how do you know….. really. Perhaps it won’t sit right on a frameless canvas. Remember that you have to include a few inches around the image to make it go to the edge. But most sites that offer these advantages have the measurements posted or available templates. Remember they want your business and it is to their advantage to make your art look as good as you intended.

You will note on the above image, that my design does not go to the edge, but there is a black edge that will blend and work well. If you wanted the edges covered in the design, You will have to create a lager bleed area.

Here is a print that is framed, Now I like this but I want it BIG. So I would have to increase the size of the image from a 12 x 12 at 300 dpi to what size that I would like it to appear on the wall. If you know your wall that you want your image to rest on then just take a moment and try to see the image on that wall. That will give you a better idea of what to shoot for. Always take into consideration the image it self. Is it suitable for a large or small image.

This image leans on the Steam Punk side. I love Steam Punk. Mechanical beetles, time machines, victorian clothes. What is not to love! This was inspired by such imagery.

These are a few of the main images that have been used here. But more could be added or changed around. I chose the world, globes, instead of the sun an moon, because I wanted her to be a world traveler, some one who looks at life as a banquet. She stands on the bottle of Champagne, a symbol of celebration. The time points to almost 2, that life is in progress.

Celebrate with Champagne Repeated Patterns for by FrogsAttic.
So I am up early this morning with a call from Japan first thing!! Was it from a manufacturing co? A textile or ceramic deal? No, my son is stationed there!! But it was an exciting call none the less! Getting up early got my juices flowing a bit faster then usual. So I started to post again and with that comes this collection. These patters, can be printed or digitally used in creations. Don’t know how many of you use clipping mask but these are great for that! Don’t know how clipping mask are used? Perhaps a tutorial could be arranged. The sky is the limit with that little tool. But even if you don’t used a PhotoShop or Ai program and just like the hands on print and cut creations, this is also great! They come in 300 dpi jpg format so your good to go.
I want to thank you once again for all the likes and follows! It encourages me to create new and different patterns and designs.

Blue Back Ground Repeated Patters by FrogsAttic on Etsy.
Just finishing up a new listing of some blue background work. This is 5 of 10 that will be available in my store. Etsy has a great feature now that allows instant downloads of files. This is great since I will just archive the files until I need them and don’t have to keep up with what server they are on and then rush back and send them off! Yippie for technology!!
