Thinking of Christmas? And I like everyone, am trying to make my thoughts stay in a budget and make the gifts count. Sometimes in gift giving, we hurry to purchase to just get it out of the way. My Benevolent Dictator thinks you shop the night before for everyone. I in the other hand and polar opposite, would like to do it through out the year collecting itmes from special stores that are chosen with thought and care like a jeweler chooses the perfect jewele to go into their creation.
Here is an idea for someone… a plate. Now wait befor you say whhhhattt, this is a special plate one that your could use on that special night! You know, the one that you leave out that special treat. And you could even put a name of the family on it or a special poem or saying. So drop by and check out this idea and by the way check out the rest of my little store. Give me a “like” and spread the holiday cheer. Thanks guys!!

I have just started working on some new Christmas images to use for greeting cards this Holiday. After pulling myself away from a very successful Halloween, I find that I am still wanting to use the every lovely orange and black colors. So I thought what better way to break the mold then to use the clean red and white of Christmas. I started with this simple card. I have taken some vintage corner elements and then converted them to vector images and then applied them to the corners. I love what it does for this card. I used a small sprig of holly to add some green and of coarse that Christmas feel. The image is a template and can be removed to add the image of your family or of a favorite Christmas image. Some creative font work for the Merry Christmas and there you are.
Check out this and other cards over at my Jeweled Frog Creations Store on the Zazzle site.
